Biography:
I am a second year PhD student working within the Thaventhiran Lab. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Birmingham which involved an industrial placement year at GSK Stevenage. After graduating in 2018 I moved to Cambridge to work for a biotech company called F-star based at the Babraham Research Campus. In 2020 began my MRes + PhD programme funded by CRUK.
Research Interests:
I am interested in immuno-oncology, a field of research which looks at how our immune system tackles cancer. In particular I try to investigate the proteins (or 'antigens') that are found in cancer that our immune system can generate a response to and how they may change in different circumstances.
