MRC Toxicology Unit

We support multiple “omics” projects by providing analytical environment for high throughput technological pipelines. Various “omics” technologies are commonly applied to a wide spectrum of medical problems, including the identification of diagnostic biomarkers or monitoring the effects of drug treatments.

Although being significantly different technically, the ultimate experimental output for the majority of “omics” technologies is a list of genes (genomics chips), a list of proteins (proteomics) or a list of metabolites (metabolomics)

We have developed “”, an analytical pipeline which implement different statistical frameworks and utilize different database knowledge for functional profiling of gene/protein lists. tools cover almost all available information regarding gene function (Gene Ontology), protein interactions (IntAct) and pathway relationships (ReactomeKEGG).
