Our industry partners are important to our KTE strategy as academic-industry collaboration is recognised as a valuable route to innovation.

Our partners cover a variety of sectors in including pharma, biotech (start-ups and SMEs), consumer goods and agrochemicals to complement the range of research carried out at the Unit.

This partnering provides the potential for our research to drive co-discovery with industry and to be translated into safety science innovations to support healthcare and the economy.

Our location within the Cambridge ecosystem allows us to interact with the wealth of local companies and we aim to collaborate locally, nationally and internationally.

The Unit works with the Cambridge Academy of Therapeutic Sciences (CATS) which facilitates many opportunities to interact with industry.

The Unit is a founding member of the Cambridge Alliance on Medicines Safety (CAMS) which is an alliance between the Unit, GSK, AstraZeneca, Novartis and the University of Cambridge providing strong collaborative links between academia and pharma.

Our industry collaborations are overseen by our Industrial Liaison Manager, Dr Kirsti Hornigold. If you are interested in partnering with us, contact kah89@cam.ac.uk to find out more.
