We recognise the importance of applying our scientific knowledge to assist the relevant regulatory authorities with the development of public polices that best serve public interest.
We aim to broaden and deepen our policy networks by discussing our findings with colleagues at:
- UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA)
- Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)
These discussions provide a route to share information with organisations such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and development (OECD), Food Standards Agency (FSA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for their use in the development of scientific- and evidence-based public policy.
Policy activities at the MRC Toxicology Unit are co-ordinated by the KTE Committee. Contact kah89@cam.ac.uk to find out more.
