Tiago Marques Pedro, a PhD student in the MacFarlane lab, has been selected to present his research at the Gordon Research Conference on Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms of Toxicity.

"Alongside the amazing speakers, innovative science and hiking excursions, I was chosen to give a short talk based on my poster presentation, which centred on using machine learning to build predictive models of mitochondrial toxicity. This opportunity helped to spur discussion around my work and receive priceless feedback from experts in the field." shares Tiago.

He was also selected to co-chair the next GRS sessions in two years time. Congratulations Tiago!
