Our 'Under the microscope' temporary tattoo was designed for the Advanced Imaging Facility to represent their work as part of the Tattoo my Science project.
Under the microscopeMicroscopes are a vital tool in our research toolkit. Without them, it would be much harder for us to do our science. We use microscopes that use light, fluorescence and even tiny particles called electrons to see what is within cells. Our microscopes can help us to make beautiful and colourful images and videos of what is going on in our cells and bodies. It is really amazing what you can see. You can see some examples on our Instagram page. Design by Odara Medagedara |
Advanced Imaging FacilityThe Advanced Light Imaging facility has a wide range of instruments and technologies to facilitate the Toxicology Unit’s Research. |
