Researchers from the Toxicology Unit transformed into 'human books' to support the launch of our new public engagement project; The Human Bookshelf.

The Human Bookshelf events allow visitors 1:1 time with our researchers to talk about their area of expertise and learn about how we are working to create a safer environment and medicines. Our first event was held at the Cambridge Central Library where we had 'books' available on Alzheimer's disease, blood clotting, gene editing technologies and brake dust pollution.

It was great to see visitors of all ages come along, loan our books and ask questions to our researchers and we are exciting to share 5 new books at our next event in July!
