Researchers from the Unit participated in this year's Norwich Science Festival on 24th February. It was the first time that the Unit has taken part in this event sharing our research to a wider audience.

We set up our temporary tattoo parlour in The Forum in Norwich as part of our Tattoo My Science activity. We chatted to over 400 visitors about toxicology, DNA, the gut microbiome, antibodies, liver cells, tyre pollution and more using our tattoos, designed by our researchers, as conversation starters. The tattoos went down a storm with all ages and we thoroughly enjoyed having conversations about the work we do at the Unit with everyone.

Thank you to our volunteers on the day who made our tattoos and research come to life; David, Tara, Rui, Leah, Tom, Charlotte, Beth and Emma.

If you have an event that you would like us to bring our temporary tattoos along to, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you: communications@mrc-tox.cam.ac.uk
