Anne Willis attended a Wellcome Trust Researcher meeting in Mid-September and at the meeting they commissioned a graphic artist - Alex Cagan. Alex is a post-doctoral researcher, who works on somatic evolution at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. In his spare time, he captures the content of talks in real time, and summarises them in sketch form. You can see examples of his work here. 

The Wellcome Trust is trialling this approach as a means to share the content of researcher meetings more widely within Wellcome. The sketches will be on display during the meeting and will be used after the event for internal communications activities at Wellcome.
