Biography:

Bee joined the MRC Toxicology Unit in Cambridge in September 2021, brings a wealth of expertise from his previous employment with the Hong Kong Government, where he played a crucial role in the disciplinary department.

Bee is excited to share his professional journey as an IT Specialist. He has been at the forefront of managing and creating comprehensive IT infrastructures for entire departments. His areas of competence include networking, storage management, and server site preparation. Bee is committed to maintaining smooth and effective operations and thrives on optimizing current processes.

In his role, Bee was responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of servers and systems, ensuring optimal performance. He successfully managed the department's network infrastructure, facilitating seamless connectivity and data flow. Bee streamlined the daily operations of lab and client computers to guarantee smooth functionality and implemented and maintained telecommunications setups for effective communication, and provides 2nd and 3rd Level Technical Support. Bee is poised to bring his valuable skills and experience to contribute to the success of the MRC Toxicology Unit.
