Biography:

Born and raised in Cambridge, Christian was employed by the University of Cambridge to join their Estates Management team in 2014 to be Custodian of the Gleeson Building (E025), formerly home to the MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Research Institute and now the MRC Toxicology Unit.

Acting as guardian and preserver of the estate, Christian’s role includes maintenance and repairs, security, supervising contractors and contract cleaning agencies, managing a goods-inward service and assisting and supporting the occupiers of the building to achieve their goals and to ensure that their research and services run smoothly and safely.

Christian is also our Chief First Aider, trained by St. John Ambulance, and has many years of experience keeping the staff and students of the University of Cambridge safe and well.
